We manufacture endoscopes. Some key parts and materials are necessary to manufacture high-performance products. These include adhesives that play a very important role by bonding 40 to 50 types of parts.
The adhesives should have high safety and long-lasting strong adhesion. However, it is not easy to develop adhesives that meet those requirements.
Because the adhesives are to be used in medical equipment, their quality needs to be further improved. We were struggling to find a real answer to that need.

Vacuum mixer that has become indispensable

We encountered the THINKY MIXER at an exhibition, and thought that it would help us solve our problems. When we made enquiries about the product, we were told that demonstrations were available using actual materials, so we made a request. THINKY MIXER ARV-930TWIN (vacuum), which best meets our requirements, was recommended to us. The demonstration showed that it offered higher mixing and defoaming efficiency than expected, so we decided to purchase it.

When better defoaming is achieved by sufficient mixing of adhesive molecules, the adhesive becomes stronger. We conducted a six-month accelerated deterioration test by using materials prepared with THINKY MIXER ARV-930TWIN.
The test showed good bonding strength and durability, so we decided to employ the adhesive in manufacturing processes. Today, we consider THINKY MIXER ARV-930TWIN to be an indispensable tool for the manufacture of high-performance endoscopes.
